Shearline Introduction
Shearline is a module introduced in MASS™ Version 2.0 which was designed to manage several shear wall designs within a single elevation of a shear wall containing openings.
Shearline is limited to single storey shear wall elevations containing piers that do not have flanges. The pier tabs created by a shearline module perform the same calculations found in a regular shear wall module. To create a new shearline module:
- select Assemblage –> New OR click on the Add drop down box
- Click on Shearline on the welcome screen
